Christmas Eve Torchlight Procession - Bonfire and Carol Singing

Carol Singers_01mr

The Torchlight Procession and Carol Singing is a long established Christmas Eve event.

Two separate processions start at the Railway bridge in Goring and The Coombe in Streatley and meet around a large bonfire at Streatley Recreation Ground to celebrate Christmas with a Carol Singing Service.

The Torchlight Procession has become a very popular event with people coming from miles around.

Thousands of local residents and friends, equipped with lit torches, converge on the bridge across the River Thames to create a breathtaking sight with over half a mile of twinkling torches.
